Fish Spa...

Went to fish spa last saturday with my friends...

It is a really interesting spa where little fish exfoliate the dead skin on your feet by EATING them!

First, you are requested to wash your feet in the washing area where little hand-held showers..
Then, there are two areas - an inner “beginner” area and an outer area...

Erm...The beginner area is filled with smaller fish....We were so so so excited, especially my friend-SLKJ, he was very ticklish and the first few minutes (i think 10 minutes kua..or even more than that, lol) were spent with his screaming and laughing as and when his feet enter the water...Wahaha.... his expression was really priceless…(lols)

I personally found that the spa quite enjoyable once I got over the initial ticklish feeling of fish around my feet...

Then, we moved to the outer area with BIGGER fish!!!.Wahaha...
It feels a little more uncomfortable as you can actually feel their sharp snouts as they EATING your dead skin...
Ouch...ouch..

Did my feet feel any smoother? It surprisingly did and felt really nice, smooth and silky after my 30 minute fish spa treatment! !!

Will I be back again? Definitely!!!!!

David Archuleta

David Archuleta is the most versatile artist I've heard in my whole entire life.
I don't know who else could honestly sing any type of music and perform it really well like he does...
He is a very special talent and even more special person full of feeling and soul..
I only hope that as he matures, he keeps his core self, which is pure gold...
I would careless of what people would think, whether he's good or not.
I'm proud to be a fan of someone so angelic like him..
Coz he is total vocal perfection. No singer has ever been able to touch my soul nearly as much as David has!!!
His first album will be availaible in November 2008...

David archuleta- "Smoky Mountain Memories"

David Archuleta- "when you believe"

David Archuleta -"Imagine"

David Archuleta- "In this Moment"

David Archuleta- "Don't let the sun go down on me"

Naming a baby?

My sister's hunting for names...
For her first child who'll rock the world in October...
Actually no...
My sister is on an eating spree while I am hunting for names for her baby...
And I have come up with some really nice names for a baby boy...
But I cant for the life of me think of interesting boy-names ( Is this intuition? Should we paint the walls pink ? Oh the suspense is at its peak already!!!)

BEIJING OLYMPIC FUWA...

The 5 "Fuwa" - Beibei is the Fish; Jingjing, the Panda; Huanhuan, the Olympic flame; Yingying, the Tibetan Antelope and Nini, the Swallow.

Then when you read the names together: "Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni" means==> “Welcome to Beijing.”

Have you ever wonder when a cute cute Fuwa evolve to a beautiful gal???

  1. BEI BEI - the fish and water designs are symbols of prosperity and harvest. And so Beibei carries the blessing of prosperity. A fish is also a symbol of surplus in Chinese culture, another measure of a good year and a good life. Among Fuwa, Beibei is known to be gentle and pure. Strong in water sports, she reflects the blue Olympic ring.

2. JING JING - As a national treasure and a protected species, pandas are adored by people everywhere. The lotus designs in Jingjing’s headdress symbolize the lush forest and the harmonious relationship between man and nature. Jingjing was chosen to represent our desire to protect nature’s gifts--and to preserve the beauty of nature for all generations. Jingjing is charmingly naive and optimistic. He is an athlete noted for strength who represents the black Olympic ring.

(**the comic version for JING JING looks very weird...i prefer the cute version 1 ..hehe)

3. HUAN HUAN - child of fire, symbolizing the Olympic Flame and the passion of sport- and passion is the blessing he bestows. Huanhuan stands in the center of Fuwa as the core embodiment of the Olympic spirit. He excels at all the ball games and represents the red Olympic ring.

(** Yee...Ca you change to another pose...???Please...)

4. YING YING - Yingying is fast and agile and can swiftly cover great stretches of land as he races across the earth. A symbol of the vastness of China’s landscape, the antelope carries the blessing of health, the strength of body that comes from harmony with nature.

(*** This one looks great!!!)

5. NI NI - Among Fuwa, Nini is as innocent and joyful as a swallow. She is strong in gymnastics and represents the green Olympic ring.

(*** Cute gal...)

Amazing Beijing Olympics 2008 Opening ceremony

Beijing held its formal opening ceremony today for the 2008 Olympics. The ceremony, held in the National Stadium known as the Bird’s Nest, was attended by million, and watched by millions more on television. This is the best opening ceremony i've ever watched. Below are some highlights of the nearly 4-hour performance.

The opening ceremony proper began with a contemporary drum sequence by 2,008 "Fou" drummers on a backdrop of a giant LED paper scroll, representing the first great Chinese invention and displaying animated graphics.

The LED-embedded "Fou" drums and their glowing drumsticks were lit up by the drummers. In formation, the drummers lit their drums to form giant digits (in both Arabic and Chinese numberals) to countdown the final seconds to the Games and herald the start of the opening time of 8.00 pm

"Giant LED paper scroll"

Fireworks explode over the National Stadium during the Opening Ceremony for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games at the National Stadium on August 8 in Beijing.

The Olympics rings were then lifted up high vertically to show the complete Olympics emblem, seemingly by magic.

A troupe of female dancers dressed in Tang-era clothing entered, suspended by a rectangular extension held by hundreds of performers. On the ground was the map of the Silk Road. Another procession of men, in blue dress, with oars forming pictures of junks, symbolized the voyages of Zheng He. There was a celebration of the next great Chinese invention, the compass, which was in its ancient form, a metal spoon floating in a fluid suspensible vessel.

If u missed the show, go youtube or other webssite and try to search for it...coz it's really a great great show...
And last...wish all the athletes from Malaysia can at least grab a medal...
Good Luck...

A trip to Cameron highlands

Each part of Cameron Highlands has its own individual charm and attractions, and together they combine to provide all the ingredients for a memorable holiday, no matter what your interest or what time of the year.
Fruits and vegetables like tomatos, cabbages, oranges and strawberries grow fresh and healthy in the cool climate and fertile soils of the highlands. You can buy them either at the various markets or the farms which are located throughout the highlands.(of course my mother buy alot alot alot...'.")
Flower Nurseries

Cameron Highlands is Malaysia's leading producer of fresh flowers.
At the flower gardens and nurseries, be dazzled with the mix of colors and species being grown here.
A weird species of flower..
"Monkey cup/ pitcher plant"
Strawberry Farms
Strawberries farms can be found almost everywhere in Cameron Highlands. All offer locally grown strawberries and home made strawberry jams and a very cheap price. Some strawberry farms will let you pluck your own strawberries and charge you according to the weight
